We decided to start providing SEO services on InspireMe Labs, after we realized there was a real shortage of high quality SEO services online and specially on open marketplaces like Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, SEOclerks etc.
Countless organizations and digital agencies were getting duped into buying low quality services that really were only about “reports” and not “results”.
Projects were not really moving websites up the Google SERPs because they were not executed properly, or were just shell gigs/services that did not have any SEO value.
The marketplaces themselves have no checks and balances, or verification systems in place to call out these scams.
In fact, these scams look very real as they have countless sales and reviews associated with them.
For the uninformed buyer, this was a big waste of money, time and resources… and further fuelled the popularity of these so labelled “premium gigs”… as Client left reviews at delivery time – instead of waiting out the 2 to 4 weeks for the SERPs to show any ranking results.
Don’t get us wrong. There ARE services that work and give results, and we use them too. But, these gems are hidden away amongst hundreds of similar gigs and countless websites that are hard to find and evaluate. One needs a very experienced and trained eye to find them.
We tried offering a few gigs ourselves in some of these service based online marketplaces, only to realize that clients were not willing to pay a fair price for the high level of services that we were providing.
We realized that we would not be able to compete with other low priced gigs (these marketplaces are a race to the bottom). Gigs that were nowhere near the value we were delivering, but promised the moon.
It was a losing battle.
Clients and buyers on these marketplaces were not looking at the serious high level SEO work, and these price-sensitive buyers were really not the audience, that we were seeking.
And so, we decided to create a standalone dedicated store on our popular blog and website, where we were 100% focused on offering high-performance SEO services directly to serious clients.
